If you are looking for a historic location for your event, Davis Chapel (ca. 1922) is the place. It began as a place of worship on the James Davis Plantation soon after the Davis family settled on the Dan River in the 1700’s. The original building burned in 1922, but was immediately rebuilt using the old plan. The Chapel has a seating capacity of 99 and is available as well as picnic shelters on the property. While you are there enjoying the local history, take a walk on their nature trail which takes you along the Dan River.

Steele Crest offers a picturesque country setting for your wedding, birthday party or special occasion. Located between Hanging Rock State Park and Winston Salem, North Carolina, Steele Crest was originally a working tobacco farm. The farmhouse was built in 1910 by the Steele Family and is located on a beautifully landscaped hillside. The property also includes a barn and log cabin.
